Yes, I was the first one who got here yet, due to my status, I could still not find a job. To make extra money, to help my hubby for the bills at the same time, and to save for the incoming plans in the future.
So, this friend of mine arrives last August and was located in Las Vegas Nevada. That is known as many opportunity, for where you can find so many casinos where you can apply for a part time job.
So, I check out an online casino reviews here in my place, hoping that I might find one that I can read their perspective and hopefully that it would not be that dangerous. And I finally did, as soon as I’ll have my have my Adjust Status fix I do hope that I’ll be able to get that job I am eyeing in the casino near Jamestown.
I shared it to my friend that he can check it out through online. All he has to do is type the internet casino near their area and I’m sure there are plenty. Knowing the fact that he lives in a State that known as the Sin City, where so many casino which will be able to hire him.
I am happy for him, also a good thing because he needs to work for his family in the Philippines at the same time, for his retirement too. Yeah, he is already old, hence he needs to work as long as he still have a strong body for his age and can do anything out of it.
I do really hope that I’ll be able to find a work too.

i know in time you will get a job Nova, part time or full time. Meanwhile, just do enjoy life in vacation to the fullest, when you do get a job, a lot of times, you will dream about vacation :)

that's okay, Novs. i have been here for almost 2 years and i didn't get a job. although there were job offers but it's on a crazy sked that TS didn't like it for me. my sister who arrived 7 months later got a job ahead of me.
let's just be happy for them. if it didn't work out for us, at least it did for them, di ba?

i've once had a job in Phils, and hopefully that asking for a VL here isn't that hard as the way i used too in Phils.

my Tatay always reminded me that I came here in the US to be with the person I love and married. I did not come here to work. so, work or no work, TS will always be my first priority.
