My #Review about Vuru JR. 8GB 7" Tablet PC. Android JellyBean 4.1. Dual Cameras, 3200 mAh Battery, Dual Core 1.2 GHz CPU - Light Blue

Modern technology is one of the many ways to entertain us lately. Inventors are creating more and more ways and kinds to develop something that would make things better for us.

Just for an instance tablet, during my childhood years, this electronics were not existing and so the way we enjoy and entertain ourselves is by simply playing with our siblings, cousins and friends.

No electronics involved. Yet we are all full of wonderful imagination. We have to come up with something different, awesome and very cool that we can describe to our playmate, in which would also fascinate them too in the worlds we created.

As time goes by, things change. And that also affects the way new generations play nowadays. Well, I don't think it's bad as long as we [parents/guardians] do know how to control and teach our children not to rely or to spend more time with these gadgets.

Moreover, even when I was very hesitant to acquire another tablet, as we don't need them anymore in this house. Because I have an opportunity to test one, I did grab my chance. This would also be another purpose for our son's educational learning.

I have the opportunity to review the Vuru JR. 8GB 7" Tablet PC. Android JellyBean 4.1. Dual Cameras, 3200 mAh Battery, Dual Core 1.2 GHz CPU - Light Blue. Yes, an Android system, in which challenge me as I have never acquired an Android before.

The product seems to be very secure with the way it was packed..Excellent!!!

My Review:

Love the awesome packaging. The product arrived in the mail on a very secure shipment. Fast and I'm happy about it.

I have no problem about the way the seller's packing and I would give it a 5 star rating.

The color I got is light blue and it is perfect, a very vivid color and great if your child likes this kind of color.  It also has a temporary screen protector and as well as the back. I have not removed the screen protector, just to make sure that my son won't  be able to scratch the tablet before I buy the right screen protector for it.

I messed up the entire Tablet, because it seems like hooking to our wifi at home is very difficult. I read the user manual, and it seems that the tablet can't connect to our wifi. I end up resetting the tablet to its factory setting, and that's where everything, even the pre-download apps were gone and it reboots to a totally different language. So be warned, do not reset the Tablet unless you have the ability to read Chinese/Japanese language. I resolved my issue with the help of YouTube and researching.

One thing I have noticed too is whenever I watched a movie through Netflix and PBS [using their app], it seems like it is constantly loading, every after 5-10 minutes the movie stops and it loads up. It is not my connection because when I watch the same movie into my other tablet, it seems to work just fine. So, something it has to do with the processor itself, and I know that having only 1.2GHZ it is keeping up.

Charging, the first 2 times that I charged the tablet it did take at least 6 hours, but after that it is fully charged after 4 hours or recharging it. One thing I don't like is that even if I don't use the tablet it drains easily.

The loudest of the volume gets is fine, the quality of the video is really in high-definition. Definitely this tablet is for kids. Looks durable, light weight, easy to use, [though this is the very first time] that we have an Android device.

The user manual is very helpful, just follow each direction and you'll be able to figure out and troubleshooting. I also like how I can purchase any standard micro SD Card to expand the tablet's storage.

Other than what little issues I mentioned above, this table is pretty decent. Plus with the price I would say worth to pay the amount.

Update: I returned the item due to the problem I encountered. The seller is very much helpful and willing to send me a replacement. So far the replacement will be mailed back to me and the issue regarding watching a movie that doesn't play all the way.  As of March 1, 2016, I am still waiting for the replacement in the mail. And will definitely make another update about the issue.
