The First Thanksgiving

The night before the Thanksgiving, we were supposed to go out and have fun but unfortunately as the Bana don’t have enough money to spend and we were not in good terms we both decided to stay home. Also, I got busy with my cooking but even told him to go out and hangout to his family because it is just fine with me to be here at home. Besides, I am not into drinking anymore and I want to make sure that the food will be ready by tomorrow.

The also reason why I wasn’t been able in the mood for the said happening is that my puto cheese was imperfectly cooked. By the way, want to thanks Belle, Te Norms, and Nynka for the suggestions they have given to me on how to make a delicious puto cheese. Thanks for sharing the recipes.

Anyhow, so the Thanksgiving Day has come and I was thinking that they will have the food feast during dinner but nope. We started it around 3pm up to night time. Too bad, I tried to eat as much as I can but I’m way too stuff in the first round.

They played SEEN IT GAME, and SCRABBLE too bad, I wasn’t feeling well during that time and I haven’t taken any pictures for the said occasion.

Holidays is in the air, everyone deserves to take a break and have family christmas vacation. What are precious gifts for you? Would it be something material? Expensive or cheap, how can you differentiate what’s precious gifts? Probably, it matters to a person on how they give importance to gifts that is given to them. For me, I find all gifts given to me as precious, for the reason that I know it is given to me that comes from the bottom of a person’s heart. And gives importance to it as well, because it is not that easy to find precious gifts for a certain person, we have to make sure that they will like and useful for them once we buy something for a family or a friends.
I have nieces and nephews and they are many as I have a big family. So, I don’t want to spoil them but I just bumped into this website and when I browsed their page, it captures my eyes for I certainly know I can give precious gifts to my nieces and nephews without any hassle, so many gifts to choose from and perfectly for a gift to my niece and nephews for this coming Christmas. What I need for Christmas is….

To be with my family in the Philippines, I know I am still not over this issue, but I can say that my family is way unsurpassed and every single day I spent here with my husband is a single day that I’m getting more worried to them. Especially to my parents, we all know [God forbids] that nobody on this planet knows until when will a person last right? I’m very scared that I might not be able to spend much time with them as I wanted to spend and to be with my family [simbako palayo sa mga dautan nga makadungog].

And since, one of the very Special Holidays that we Filipinos celebrate and look forward too is the Christmas and New Year and our Family’s birthdays. During those times, I really get very emotional here, because I know that no matter what I do, as much as I wanted to be there presence that will not going to happen anytime soon.

I am not as fixate as I was to my family before, I do confess that when I was during my High School days, I’m one of those mutinous to my family, defiant in a way that I don’t be grateful for the gatherings, I get a feeling of hackneyed to spent time with them.

And then one day, certain things happened to one of a precious family member, which helps me and awakens me to get even closer to my whole family. I don’t want that to happen to anybody nor to the person that I love the most. That even when I was at work, I took a day off just to spend the day with my family, and I have given more attention and time to my family more than to the work that I had, as long as it’s not a peak season in the office. I go with them anywhere and that is the beginning that my obsession to my family starts to grow.

So, you can’t blame me if I’m still not done with the homesick issue and I’m pretty much sure that it will never change. The longing to be with my Family during Special Holidays like Christmas and New Year and Birthdays is what I wanted for Christmas.

LL Disapproves my BLOG

We all know that there are so many paid posts where you can subscribe and make money with the paid post they have. So I applied or subscribe in one of them and recently I emailed LL asking what’s the reason behind why they have neglected my blog as it is already 8 months now, hence, in my curiosity I want to make sure that I won’t wait for another year or so, if they just won’t approve my blog. And that was been answered as they mentioned of the reason why they didn’t approve it because they don’t approve a non English blog. What the F$%^!!! Too bad, I post the joke time entry at the same time they have taken a quick look on my page. And hell!!! I’m really not pleased of their freaking comment. So I replied them something that won’t make them happy as well. Anyways, I don’t mind it… they are not the only paid post website that I joined with. I’m just too not convinced of their reason why. And to think it takes months before they will notify you. And I don’t like that.. Because I know that I don’t deserve to wait the long if my blog/page won’t be approve just because of some stupid one post.

I decided to unsubscribe to their website that way I won’t be hindrance to their business.

Pardon my sentences here.. I just not convinced of their unreasonable comment when they emailed me back.

Massive Snow in Jamestown NY

Yes, as I got up early morning today, I was amazed of the massive snow that was in front of the house, in our backyard and just pretty much anywhere your eyes can see. I enjoyed it, YES to the max, but knowing the fact that it pretty darn cold outside? And I can’t play? [Now… becoming childish here…] I mean, playing snowball fight, snow angel, or even make a snowman.. hahahaha… that’s the cause of watching too much movies I guess. Well, you can’t blame me, I want to experience that.. and I’m dying, as I have nobody to play with, my bana is so busy repairing his garage that way he’ll be able to put his 2 cars inside of it to keep it warm. And bad me, I just can’t help him fix the roof or probably I’ll be doing a lot of work to clean the inside of it right after his all done fixing it.

Anyhow, I’m so cheerful watching the plunging snows and sometimes, I went outside to feel it and then hurriedly come back inside the house and immediately face the heater heheheh… that way I’ll be able to heat up.

But I love it… those people who knew me, called me and asked about what’s my feeling regarding the massive snow and the pretty winter cold outside. I, for the meantime, have given them a positive response about it since I’m still enjoying what nature is giving today. But, well see about that, will I ever turn like those people who curse or hated the snow and even the cold weather? I’m not giving my opinion for now.
