4th of July in Cuba

What did we do last 4th of July? My family and some of my husband's family member decided to go to Cuba Lake, an hour and a half away from Jamestown to be with the other members of the family. My husband's older brother has a girlfriend's mom who own a lot and a cabin up hill. Inspite of the hot weather, we still pursue to go to be with them and to enjoy the afternoon before heading to my mother in law's place for dinner. We explore the place. Unfortunately, for my son he was fussy the whole time we were there because of the heat. I didn't noticed that it was really that hot until I noticed my son has a heat rash. I felt so useless because there is no air-conditioner there where we could just stay and get comfortable. We bought his educational toys with us, but still it didn't work at all. I mean, I know he is such on his young age but where do baby starts from learning things? With their younger years too. I got amuse by it and I am sure my son too. 

After staying for 3 hours in that place, we decided to go home. Hang out with my Mother in law's place until evening and got home sweet home around 10 in the evening.

Got a TEXT

Read my text from my beloved mother regarding the forex box has arrived this afternoon in their home. I was really happy to read the message my mother sent. Finally after months and months of waiting. They finally got the gift they were supposed to got last December. Everyone is so happy with their gift and I've got one more box to be mailed to them again. Hopefully it'll be as safe as the first one too.

8th Package from my Family and thinking about Used Cars

This is the 8th package that I received from my family in Philippines. Some were Christmas gifts others were something that I asked from them to send me. I know, I can buy those seasonings here but since we are hours and hours away from the Asian store and since they are sending me some stuff from Philippines. I decided to include those favorite seasonings to sent to me too. And I am loving them all because they will ship it to me and it only takes 2 weeks the least for me to held them all in my arms. I was super excited to see what they sent me and I'll cherish it too. 

I felt bad because my box that I send to them via a cargo hasn't arrived yet. I was told that it will take 2 months before they got it. I have been checking the tracking online yet the box never leave US still. How long will it freakin' stay in that office? I lost hope and I want it to be at my family's property now. But I guess I have to wait until they will deliver it.

However, I have to make sure that I have to less spend my money that way. Whenever I have the chance to see a used car. I have seen in television about Ford Direct. I love to have a car that has a nice manufacturer and hopefully to get one from a Ford Direct. I wish to have one before this year ends too. Since, I have a husband, I'm sure he will be there beside me when purchasing used car for me to use in the future.

Package from Philippines

 

I really love my family in Philippines. Even though I am a thousands miles away from them. They still didn't failed to send me some amazing and yummy things that I love to have and eat. Got a package and under was what contains inside that box. I always excited when they said that they sent me something. Everyday in the mail, I am excited to see the mailman whether or not he got my package or not. Haven't you tried that feeling? I enjoyed and ate the pastries and some of the seasonings were still here and almost gone. Can't wait for another batch.

Done with my mails

As the Big Event of the year fast approaching, I have finally done a week ago with the mails I'm sending to my family here in US as well as in the Philippines. Aside from the cards, I sent a personalize postcard to them and to share the spirits of Christmas. Even though it is only a cards it is the thought that counts. Meaning it also tells them that even though I am thousands miles away from them, I don't forget them in everyday of my life.

Aside from that, I really love to send postcards to my family and friends. Whether if its their birthdays, some holidays or just a simple note of saying Hello! At the same time, I LOVE to get postcards, letters from them too. It makes me feel that I am remembered inspite of my absences.

So, when you have some good holidays and would love to send something to them. Why not send them letters, notes or just postcards saying hello make them feel that you remember them.

I do admit that I almost forgot my baby brother's special day. Because there are so many things that happens here. I don't forget his birthdate but it just took me awhile to put up a BIG SHOUT OUT FOR HIM HERE...

My Birthday has passed a month ago, and since I haven't shared so many things about yet for weeks. I am sure you are still eager to know what happened. So, I am starting to the Birthday Cards that I got during my very special day. I love them all and I did keep it for future remembrance.

Still looking for shoes

Oh this isn't for me, but for my father and eldest brother. I am buying them shoe for Christmas, since they are both not around it is really hard for me to find the one they would like. We went to the malls, and to the other stores to find the right shoe size they have. I am concerned because if it won't fit them, there would be no way of me asking for an exchange to the right side. They are in the Philippines and I have to ship these gifts all the way there.

I asked to measure their foot using the tape measure that way I would be able to tell the salesperson to get me the shoe size with the size of this and that. Father and bro were not as picky as other men, they will be grateful to accept no matter what is given to them as a Christmas gift?

Aside from that, I went online to check that I could also find online website too, but the shoes. Fortunately, I do have found a great website where they have this branded shoes like Nike, Adidas, Converse, KSwiss, RBK, now offer custom shoes. I'm so happy because I could just ask them to look at the website and give me the link once they have found the shoes they want.

Almost Full

After buying and gathering all the gifts for Christmas which by the way for my Family in Philippines. I am finally get almost full for all of them. And unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to send them this month of October but hopefully next month which is November. I don't care that much if they won't have it by December at least they have some present or pasalubong to wait after Christmas right?

This is exclusively for family only. I was thinking for my amigas, but I was thinking to bring pasalubong or present when we visits Philippines soon.

They say that you much follow whatever your instinct says. Especially when you have a feelings something about your husband flirting with someone else. It is not that you don't trust your husband/wife but when you feel something that is really not good. And when you think the your husband or wife has a different treatment towards you. There might be some changes and other superstitious things they are doing behind your back.

Well in order not to break anything, first you must have to make sure that the phone numbers he's been calling is really business related numbers. Not just some fake names on somebody's phone number. Shout ouf for my Sister's Big Day!!!

Before the day ended, I just want to give a big shout out for my older sister who is celebrating her Birthday today. October 7, 2009. I tried to find the birthday card that I made and sent to her but I couldn't find it. Before my time is up to keep looking for it. I just want to make sure that I'll be able to greet her here.

At Last!!!

After all the months and days of preparation our wedding reception is finally here. It was held on my mother in law's backyard with a huge tent that was put up with. Everyone is super busy preparing from the decorations, foods and other things.

Relatives comes and spent the occasion with us all. It is a cocktail celebration, more on beer stuff than eating the whole dinner meal. We have more foods than we though, but the drinks the keg! it is all gone.

We have more wedding gifts, cards and meeting friends, and gathered them in our very special occasion is really a great thing that happened. We started at 3pm and last until 11pm. Some people stayed very late which is fun because we have more of the karaoke that they enjoyed the most. Everybody sings. Everyone had a good time.

At last! the day has finally come! and the big event has finally over! now back to normal lives. The next occasion would be my baby shower.

A new Supplement

Most likely, there are so many different ways and different things scientist made in order to provide individuals here in US to make their lives healthy. I do admit, they eat green leafy vegetables, and aside from that, if you are not a vegetarian most likely the kind of food they have here is more on fatty foods. This is only for my observation and what I have encountering lately. And No, I don't feed my husband those fatty foods because I am aware of my health genetics.

Or others who does not admire eating those healthy and green veggies they have alternative pills to take in order to supply the daily needs of vitamins and minerals our body needs everyday. Missing the family

It is really hard when you live so faraway, you though at first it is really cool. But for me, I don't find it very cool. I wish me and my husband will move back to Philippines but it won't happen sometime soon. So I have to wait and earn for investment and hopefully, when we both retired we will stay in Gensan. I do miss my family, I don't talk to them as often as I used to be because they don't have internet access for so many months now. So I am way too behind from updates. Although I know that I have my own family now, but that doesn't mean that I have to stop knowing what's going on with my parents, and the rest of my family. I am the only person who were detached from them. Although some were in Manila and Cebu. At least they can call them for updates as often as they want without spending too much

HE Surprised Me

My ever dearest husband surprised me at work. For this very romantic and wonderful flowers I got from him for our 1st year wedding anniversary. You heard me right, it's just like our wedding happens last month that it is already a year old now.

Before that happens, I was thinking of calling work and not coming because I was thinking just to spend time at home. But I was having doubts about it, what would I do if I chooses to stay home? Hubby's at work I will get bored.

So I decided to go to work, signed an early out for the first day of the bowling tournament. I got at work, feeling tired, bored the calls were totally dead and took me like 3 minutes on every call. Until one of the supervisor asked me to idle 4 and go to the front desk. I wasn't thinking of anything, except of what I did yesterday during punched in and out on my lunch break. I know I screwed it after submitting the CSR exemption form, they shouldn't call me for any reason.

I do found a man standing with a bouquet on a vase. 12 dozen red roses with a small note. I felt warm and shaking and probably blushing. Everyone feels aaaaaaahhhhh... and like everyone is smiling at me.

I didn't really know what to feel. It is from my husband, yes he sent flowers for me at my workplace. I am very much happy and I couldn't stop smiling. I can smell how nice the red flowers and take it home with me after I got an early out.

To my 2nd brother who lives in Philippines now! I just want to greet you a Happy Happy Birthday. I received a text message that they celebrate his birthday in a dinner outside with the family.

Many more birthdays to come and more blessing bro. Miss you much and more power being a Raiders.

Communication

We call know that communication is the best part in our life. I have a friend who soon to be going away and live with her soon to be husband in England. She was asking me some advices on how to stay stick in contact with her family in Philippines. That is a great idea, I said because even though you are thousands miles away from your family. It is still a great way to keep connected with your family especially with your parents.

I told her right away to ask her fiancee to check mobile phone stores uk in their area if there is one that is near, where they can get one. Or if not he can go online to check uk phone shops online, which I do find much easier since he is working. Might not have enough time to go somewhere and has a great deal of contract mobile shop.

Good to know that her fiancee is also determine to make sure that she'll keep in touch with her family in Philippines once she moves with him. Because no matter where you are and how far you are it would be a great idea to get to know and keep in connected with your family and parents.

And you think I would forget this wonderful once a year celebration to honor our fathers? Nope, I might be late but will never ever in my mind to skip this day without telling the whole world how lucky I am to have a wonderful Father. Words are not enough to describe the overwhelmed feelings I do have for my father, because without his guidance, teachings and discipline I would never be into where and what I am right now. I do admit that you may not appreciate what your father or parents do for you when you were a little it's because you don't really know the WORLD YET. And now, that I mature enough to understand everything they did, I am SUPER LUCKY for that.

So to my beloved Father and Brother who is celebrating and honor their FATHERHOOD. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY. LOVE YOU BOTH AND THANK YO SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING. I may not be physically around but in my heart you are both close with me.
