What is Traffic Rank?

I came across to the Website about knowing everything about the blogs world. So, I have to keep reading to give answers to many questions in my head regarding this matter. And I want to share it to you some informations we might be able to miss reading as we are all busy with our own lives and of course grabbing opps. Give some time and learn more from them too. I will be talking about what I've read from Alexa.com first.

Answer:The traffic rank is based on three months of aggregated historical traffic data from millions of Alexa Toolbar users and data obtained from other, diverse traffic data sources, and is a combined measure of page views and users (reach). As a first step, Alexa computes the reach and number of page views for all sites on the Web on a daily basis. The main Alexa traffic rank is based on a value derived from these two quantities averaged over time (so that the rank of a site reflects both the number of users who visit that site as well as the number of pages on the site viewed by those users). The three-month change is determined by comparing the site's current rank with its rank from three months ago. For example, on July 1, the three-month change would show the difference between the rank based on traffic during the first quarter of the year and the rank based on traffic during the second quarter.

I'm talking about Page Ranks here…. You know and I know that I just got a new domain from last week, and for those who have experienced. Everything will turn back into ZERO, yup, the reason I decided to get a new domain it's because my PR or Pagerank isn't moving, totally depressing right? Ever since the first time Google did something on getting pagerank I never gained back my PR7 which at first I didn't appreciated it since, I thought its still in the lower level.


And to find out that, getting Page Rank 7 is almost perfect. Hay………. That dream really vanished already, and now what I did? Is to wait, keep praying that hopefully one day Google would noticed my page and would give me some Page Rank to show courtesy from them… hehehehehe… am I asking to much here??? I hope not


The funny thing is that, I thought I wont be affected with all of these page rank thingy.. but a BIG NOOOOOOOOOOOOO… I am now…. Why? I've heard many who have been jumping in and out because of they got Page Rank now and that means their website is pretty much accurate into Search Engines.


Do I pity myself here? I hope not again…… what a life… hehehehe… I'll get over this and would accept my ZERO. Or itlog Page Rank.


Does anyone of you know who? Hehehehe.. Give me some hints…

Let say, there are other people were bless from up above. Others were just unfortunate and needs to crawl up more higher than what was been expected. And let me say, I never go the BIG SMILE from Google lately. I never even experience in my life having a Google page rank higher than 7… I think I’m still lucky aside from others who just never got page rank of 7, and I am not sure if I did have the same page rank in Google. I did my best in order to come up of having a higher page rank, but I guess that hard work isn’t enough in order for me to be paid for it. Am I been punished? What do I have to do in order to get at least the maximum of page rank or PR 4? Am I that demanding / ambitious of getting that page rank? I hope not, all I just want is to at least experience having the page rank for at least in my page… That is why, sometimes it was totally disappointing knowing that my hard work isn't good enough. But I ain't giving up on this, challenge might be the answer in order for me to reach the Page Rank that I am wishing to have.

I was reading online on how to get “ high on Google” so I could have more opportunities to come, in order for me to grab more reviews that the advertisers are giving out.
