Tragic News about a Bride-to-be swept into ocean

OREGON: A young woman from the Philippines who had just moved to Oregon to join her fiancé was swept away by a huge wave just one week before her wedding day.

Scott Napper, 45, of Silverton, and his fiancé, Leafil Alforque, 22, were visiting Neskowin Beach last weekend when their lives were suddenly torn apart.

Napper planned to formally ask for Alforque’s hand in marriage on Proposal Rock.

Tillamook County Sheriff Todd Anderson said the couple was walking along the beach and had just reached the famous landmark when all of the sudden, a sneaker wave slammed against them and swept the 93-pound woman into the ocean.

The couple was already set to wed on December 6th, but Napper had never formally proposed with a ring.

This was supposed to be that special day.

This is a very sad story. To think that they're just about to get married.

Fate really has a funny way of playing with our lives.

this is aweful. there is still a lot in store for her and her body is nowhere to be found.

    i'll pray for her family.

That is indeed a very tragic news... How sad but why does the ring has to be mentioned? At least the weight is relevant coz it denotes that she is not heavy but the ring? I find it weird...

Carolyn is right Novs, if you have lost your google PR due to a change of domain, the meoment you chaged it, it will be reindexed and you are supposed to get the same PR in the next google update.

Good luck! I know what it means to us who earns online..

As for your other concern about not having a permit yet, I know how it feels.. A bit of patience, I waited too but now I have so many works around that I can just jump from work one to another... Makakabawi ka din..^^

That's okay hopefully that I'll be able to have a PR again, and this time i'll take good care of it that way it won't gone...

and about my status here? i'm not that impatient, i'm trying to wait for the right time, too, and hoping that i can adjust to the different country where i am living now because we know that this is way too different than Pinas, need to feel comfortable in the place and the people and then later on if i have the permit, i can get job na pud diba?
