Turon for FREE

Yup, another Filipina that I met gave me this free food. She called and wanting me to come over for she made Turon.

To those who doesn't know exactly what does Turon contains, this is a ripe plantain banana cut, sometimes there is a ripe jack fruit inside and both wrapped in a spring roll wrapper.

Then, deep fry in a hot oil put a little bit brown sugar while it is frying. You would know when it is cook when it starts floating and wrapper turns brown.

I munched the whole thing when I got home from picking up this food. Hubby tried a bite, apparently he doesn't like the way it was made. So is my son, I got stuffed with this desert and no more dinner for me that night.
