Time for RNR

After weeks of waiting, finally my other half arrived early in the morning at General Santos Airport. I was waiting for him and our son’s reaction after a month of separation. Our son was a little bit shy with his Daddy and we both didn’t expect the effect he did. As the hug and kisses were done, we rode back home.

While sitting on my hubby’s lap, our son is still shy over his father and didn’t make any annoying movement. My sister, her daughter and I were both smiling due to what is going on.

Glad to have the whole family again. And hopefully to give more time with my blogging but it is way too impossible especially when you want to do is to enjoy the time with your family.

  2. How sweet! Dnt worry after a little while he'll be okay and the next thing you'll know, he'd be all around daddy. Happy for you!

  4. Kids live in the present time. So, the saying "absence makes the heart go colder" may be apt to them. But don't take it to the literal connotation of the adage. They just tend to be in the "now" so whoever they see at that moment are the ones they often remember instantly. Maybe that's why he got a bit shy to see his dad. He'll come around :)

  6. Na mami Novs, that was the exact reaction too of my Triz when we went home for the first time without the hubs. Nisunod ra sya after a month and si Triz hesitant kaayo moduol. But nawala ra dayon paggaksanay nila. LOL.

  8. Physical distance can really result to some "barrier" between parent and child due to unfamiliarity. Good thing though that this is usually remedied once the family members are back together.

  9. It's just normal for young kids to behave klike that, Hindi pa sila nasanay sa abrupt separation, but in the long run, his approach to the new situation will change for the better. Sa Tagalog, we call it mahihiyang din siya.
