Feel nothing when Monthly Visit comes – My Diva Cup Review and Giveaway

Are you feeling grumpy and you PMsing (Premenstrual Syndrome) because your monthly period is closer? Do you wish you are done with your flows? Have you ever felt how hassle things are when you have those days? And wish you would be pregnant forever?

Well, I do admit that I have all those questions in my head, since the day that I have my monthly flow. I never like to be irritable and grumpy however as a woman, it is pretty common for us sometimes. We can’t control our emotions and the hormones that cause it.

I always tried to think that positive side of the flows, yet we do lose it, especially when we are in the process of working with our physical appearance as needed. It makes a woman feel irritable and wished it was the last day. And besides we can’t be pregnant all the times; the world will be too crowded.

I was really hoping that someday, there will be a solution to help me feel less stress, less irritable and would never be grumpy when my period comes. And then 18 years later I just learned that there is an elucidation.

I am happy that The DivaCup has given me the chance to be innovative. They have the answers to my prayers forever and waiting. It is an International company which is here to give a resolution to women like me who wish is more active and fun even if they have their periods.

You might be wondering now, how is cup going to solve and how it is used. This is a silicone and a very durable menstrual cup. Before you use it there is an important product safety information that is included in the product, as well as the procedures on how to use and the insertion of the DivaCup.

There are two different cup models appropriate to use for certain age: Model 1 can only be used for woman 30 years old who have never delivered vaginally or by caesarean section.  Model 2 is for women over 30 years old and/or for women who have delivered vaginally or by caesarean section.

The first time I used it, it was perfect the insertion goes well as I relax and calm myself when using the cup. I was told by my sister-in-law that it is normal to feel frustrated, however that can never help you. In order to obtain the success of the insertion, you better relax; take a deep breath in and out before you proceed.

I was so happy that it was introduced to me, now I am comfortable to do anything not even a monthly visitor could slow me down. I don’t feel uncomfortable anymore, I feel more secure as the cup will last at least 12 hours of use. It depends on the monthly flow you have, and I did find out that monthly flow is approximately 1 to 14 ounces [30-40ml]. So, I can wear the divacup up to a maximum of 10-12 consecutive hours, such as overnight, before removing, washing and reinserting. You eventually get pro on monitoring the fullness of the cup, and you will know how often to empty it. That is also in accordance with your personal needs.

How to clean your DivaCup? That might be another question in your mind. In my experienced, I soak it with warm water before the insertion. When cleaning the cup and reinserting, I only washed it with warm water and makes sure I shake it well [no more water] before reinserting.  As simple as that, and when I am done. Again, I soak it in a hot water for half a day and dried then keep it safe in the small bag it has which is included when you purchase one.

Now, I am very happy. I am glad that this is created. I will no longer feel grumpy and like I said, I can continue the things what before hold be back because of my monthly period.

This is very interesting indeed. i never heard about this before but it seemed like a very neat way to stay clean and fresh. Plus, it's reusable? And it works so easily just fold and push. Sounds like a tampon to me....
