From Alive to no More

I’m talking about my wonderful plant “Malunggay”. I was so happy late Spring as I’ve seen it grow taller. It reaches up to 7 inches tall. I thought it would survive at all. Nothing shows any bad things about the plant, so I decided that it needs more sunlight and leave in our porch.

It has gotten more sunlight never have to worry about water for it rains once awhile. My one major problem is the pests’ chippy. It’s a chipmunk I called them chippy. These pests love to dig, and even though the plants are in the pot? They still dig on it thinking there might be nuts on the bottom. Are you kidding me?!

One morning I woke up early and walk my way to the kitchen for a cup of coffee, I was devastated the “Malunggay” Plant went from alive to no more. The tiny and smooth branched snapped, there’s no way it grew back. L

  1. I am sorry to hear about your plant! I have had that happen to me too. It is such a disappointment when you try to hard to grow something only to have it die.

My father used to bandage plants back together and some how got most of them to grow and some would heal. It was crazy and I have only gotten it to work once. I am sorry your plant did not survive.

  3. Our garden is the same way. We had it looking and growing good, then had a huge hail storm this week that I think destroyed it. I'm so glad some plants can survive even when we don't think they will.

  8. oh dear! that's one problem when living near the woods perhaps? Malunggay are indeed very tricky to grow. Need a chicken wire or net around it next time mommy?

  9. Oh no! I am so sorry about that. I can feel your frustration. Maybe next time you can use some time of a cage that chipmunks won't get it or plant garlic along with it. They don't like the taste of it so as the squirrels. So sorry.
