  6. I think this is great information. No one I know intends to have to file bankruptcy but things happen people loss jobs, get divorced, get sick and more. You never know when you will be faced with a difficult decision. I had to file bankruptcy 25 years ago because I was a single mom with and ex that refused to pay child support, my wages were being garnished, I had to pay for daycare and an apartment. It was a terrible point in my life. My daughter and I lived on $20 a month for food so yes I had to file for bankruptcy. It happens it doesn't make anyone less of a person because they have financial hardships.
