After the visit in Bula Festival on 15^th of January, we decided to continue our celebration at home. I encouraged my cousin Agot and friend Genalin to join the said video-karaoke at home. Good thing that my other cousin Bethang came by home with her bf and actually met my lovey dovey Jeffy. Got a little Red Horse Beer and some junk food to cater the said continuation of the celebration, and not only that everyone had so much fun during this evening. A loud songs and laughter was in the air at this time. Here’s some pictures to show some proofs.

~ A Small Touching Story ~

I got emails from very close friends who like them would want to share what makes a person happy with. I got this very touching story just to share to you all.

*******

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON: "Daddy, may I ask you a question?"

DAD: "Yeah sure, what is it?" replied the man.

SON: "Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"

DAD: "That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?" the man said angrily.

SON: "I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?"

DAD: "If you must know, I make Rs.100 an hour."

SON: "Oh," the little boy replied, with his head down.

SON: "Daddy, may I please borrow Rs.50?"

he father was furious, "If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behavior."

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money? After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that Rs.50 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.

"Are you asleep, son?" He asked.

"No daddy, I'm awake," replied the boy.

"I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier" said the man.

"It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the Rs.50 you asked for."
The little boy sat straight up, smiling. "Oh, thank you daddy!" He yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father. "Why do you want more money if you already have some?" the father grumbled. "Because I didn't have enough, but now I do," the little boy replied.

"Daddy, I have Rs.100 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you." The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness. It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that Rs.100 worth of your time with someone you love. If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.
And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family.

Teachers will be observed by College Deans, VP’s, President, and Coordinators. Faculty don’t have any idea, who will be observed on the specific time, that’s why they must be ready for the lessons that they will be able to teach on the 3 days observations. Everyone [teachers] go totally tense because of this event, some got fever after and some will have a sick leave after the unit heads observed them. They find it annoying but in the first place this would help not only on their techniques / procedures on their teaching ways to capture and teach student updated lectures but helping the school to give out a good output as their products.

We really don’t know when our time to end up on this earth is. Early this morning, I got a call from a very close mare and told me about sad and shocking news of what happened to one of our faculty here. A PE professor was recently died due to his heart failure; yesterday he came by here in the office for a conference with the Unit Heads and then spends time to his fellow friends in their College, without knowing that it would be his last day on earth. May his family will get recover from a sudden death, and may his soul be rest in peace.

January 15, 2008 - After we checked out at Eden Nature Park, we headed to the terminal for a bus ride back home, so we would be able to get and attend Festival in Bula. Good thing that we left Davao early because it gave us the time to get rest from a 2 and half hours travel, whew! Our butt does hurts… hehehehehe…

Moreover, I was texting the people at home that Jeffy and I decided to go home on the next day. They have no idea that we are already in GenSan and on our way to see them. They were surprise to see us, and as usual when we have visitors who where from different place it’s like a whole barrio or the whole clan wants to see and meet them/him. That is what happened to Jeff, and even if they met him before? Again, I introduced each of my aunties and cousins who were at home. Jeffy’s reaction? His completely overwhelmed as he didn’t know that everyone was so glad to meet him. Smiling and nodding were on Jeff’s face; unfortunately he can’t remember all of their names. So I was like, that’s okay you don’t need to memorized all of it, time will help you with that.

And after the long tête-à-tête we decided to meet my High School Friends @ courtesy of Mary Ann Lozada-Pomperada’s place. We chatted, eat and laughed together with my fiancée. Like my family they were also glad to meet him finally and personally. Took pictures and then departed home after the long time. We really have so much fun during this meeting. All the foods and the jokes with different emotions floods at this night. Here’s some pictures to share to you folks.

Early this morning, I was not in a good day, why? Well, my back pack was been dirt all over it, since I placed it behind my back. And dirt was all over it, I washed it in the office the first thing I get there and now I’m just waiting when it will get dry so I could put my things back. 12th of February 2007, we were all alarmed of the live news reporting on a mass murder inside the mall where innocent people who had been shot This is the 1^st year of the tragedy at Salt Lake City’s Trolley Square Mass Murder in the state of Utah. It makes my heart downcast remembering of what happened during this day to those innocent people who died in just a snap of a hand. Without even knowing the real reason why their lives was been taken away from them that fast. I know it’s not that simple and easy to handle the situation especially if one of your families was a victim of it, yes…

Teresa Ann Blair Ellis
January 26, 1978 - February 12, 2007

My fiancee’s sister, Teresa Ann Blair Ellis, 29 years old died on the said Massacre. It will be a forever heartfelt of sadness for him and his family, but surely Teresa’s memorable moments spent with her family will always be remembered and be kept inside their hearts. Let’s pray for the souls of those who died on this attacked. Let us keep them remembered inside our heart.

Let’s take a pause for a while, offer a prayer for them as well as for their families who were left behind. May ALL their souls be rest in peace.

Jeff’s Vacation #2 – Days to spend alone @ Eden Nature Park

After exploring the Japanese Tunnel we proceeded to Eden Nature Park located at Davao City, it is on top of mountain area that's why is has an overlooking scene of Davao City which is a man made and they are preserving and improving certain spots to enhance their nature park. It will take you less than an hour to get there with a taxi or your private car and let the cab send us to our first adventure of Natures. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights from February 13 – 15, 2008 in the said park and explore the wondrous of its nature on what they can offer to each of its guest. Jeffy and I had so much fun spending time alone, the cuddling, and the laughter were once again reunited. I am sharing you some pictures that was been captured on this certain dates.

There goes Jeffy, I think his having a good time with it...

We went back to Gensan after memorable days we spent @ Eden Nature Park. However, there are certain times that nothing is really perfect. We/I experienced dealing money with taxis and those people to whom you trusted turns out to end up into unhappy ending. I am not giving out specific names but I was utterly dismayed of what happened on our first tour.

So, to those who haven’t know much about a certain place, it would much better to know more about realities before you will end up into disappointment.
